Clean your Mailchimp list with MailSure
Mailchimp tells you about a bounce after it happens. Verifying your audience first removes dead addresses before they cost you reputation. MailSure works on the CSV you export, so no connection to your account is needed.
How it works
- 1
Export your audience
In Mailchimp, export your audience (or a segment) as a CSV file from the audience contacts page.
- 2
Upload it to MailSure
Create a bulk list and upload the CSV. MailSure finds the email column and checks every address.
- 3
Download the valid addresses
Download the results filtered to valid only, or valid plus risky if you want to review the risky ones first.
- 4
Update your audience
Archive or remove the invalid addresses in Mailchimp, or re-import the cleaned file into a fresh audience, following Mailchimp's own import steps.
Why use MailSure for this
Fewer bounces
Hard bounces damage your sender reputation. Removing addresses that can never receive mail keeps your bounce rate low.
Spot disposable and role addresses
Throwaway signups and shared inboxes such as info@ rarely engage. Each row is flagged so you can decide.
No access to your account
You control the file. MailSure never logs in to Mailchimp or changes your audience.

Frequently asked questions
- Does MailSure connect to Mailchimp directly?
- Not yet. It works on the CSV you export and the file you import back, which keeps you in control of your data. Developers can also automate it with the API.
- Will this stop Mailchimp suspending my account?
- No service can promise that, but high bounce and complaint rates are a common reason platforms warn senders. Cleaning your list lowers the bounce part.
- Should I delete risky addresses?
- Not automatically. Risky usually means a shared role address or an unconfirmed mailbox. Send to them in a small, separate batch and watch the bounces.
